More Snow, Another Busy Workday... Must Mean More Time on the Trainer!

Thats right, another trainer workout. Since my legs are were really stiff and I am still exhausted from the 2 hours of sleep I got Sunday night, I decided to just do the recovery and technique workout. This again focuses on one leg drills and high cadence work. Enough to get the heart rate going for 45 min or so, but not enough to beat you into submission. Overall a good workout, especially since I had so little motivation when I got home. On another note, my baby boy went pee pee on the potty FOUR times today! Who would of thought that that would be the highlight of my day? I am so proud of that little guy!

2010 Efforts!

This year, like last year, I will be riding for Mary Payton's Miracle - My friend Steve Kogos from Trigators informed me that his friend Joe's daughter, Mary Payton, was diagnosed a number of years back with Late Infantile Batten Disease. This is a disease with no cure, however, there are special experimental (and extremely expensive) treatments which have shown some significant signs of success! In order to assist with the costly treatments and research, Mary Payton's Miracle was created to raise money to find a cure, hopefully in time to save little Mary Payton as well as the many others affected by this terrible disease!
