Tom, Donna, Dakota and Jacob got into town last night, so I skipped my workout to hang with them. With them coming over for breakfast this morning, I decided to get in a quick 4 mile run, breaking it up kind of like track, putting in three 1 mile intervals with a short break afterwards and then two 1/2 miles. I started off quicker than I anticipated, finishing the miles in 7:54, 7:34, 7:37 and 7:01 min, for an average pace of 7:31 min/mile. Not too shabby. It was getting really hot very quickly though, so it was a definite tough run.

HOW IT WORKS!!!
You pledge a donation to me. I need to know how much per 'mile' and what the maximum donation you would like to make is. Thats it! At the end of the year, I will calculate how much you pledged, you send me a check or a Paypal payment and I will send you a receipt from the charity once I receive it!
The 'miles' are calculated as follows (to keep the time involved similar):
1 mile road bike = 1 'mile'
1 mile Mountain bike = 3 'miles'
1 mile running = 4 'miles'
3000 yds swimming = 20 'miles'
You don't need to know me personally to participate, the more money we raise the better! Just email me at pchemdork@gmail.com
Let me know if there is someone you would like me to ride in honor/memory of and I will add them to the wall of fame to keep me motivated and to keep what all this is truly about in perspective!

Challenges!
Got a wacky idea to challenge me to ride/run more this year to really earn the donations other than a simple dollar amount per mile? How about if you want to motivate yourself and want to challenge me to see who can beat their goals by a larger amount!? Let me know!
