Got out for a quick afternoon ride to Indian Head while Cole was napping. I went out with the idea of just taking it easy, but felt really strong and couldn't help but push. Next thing I knew I was getting to Indian Head averaging about 20.5 mph and turning around to come back. I did drop off a bit, but still finished with a 20.2 mph average. It was extremely hot and humid, but it still felt good when I was riding, one more reason to love the bike.

HOW IT WORKS!!!
You pledge a donation to me. I need to know how much per 'mile' and what the maximum donation you would like to make is. Thats it! At the end of the year, I will calculate how much you pledged, you send me a check or a Paypal payment and I will send you a receipt from the charity once I receive it!
The 'miles' are calculated as follows (to keep the time involved similar):
1 mile road bike = 1 'mile'
1 mile Mountain bike = 3 'miles'
1 mile running = 4 'miles'
3000 yds swimming = 20 'miles'
You don't need to know me personally to participate, the more money we raise the better! Just email me at pchemdork@gmail.com
Let me know if there is someone you would like me to ride in honor/memory of and I will add them to the wall of fame to keep me motivated and to keep what all this is truly about in perspective!

Challenges!
Got a wacky idea to challenge me to ride/run more this year to really earn the donations other than a simple dollar amount per mile? How about if you want to motivate yourself and want to challenge me to see who can beat their goals by a larger amount!? Let me know!

Because I am now running this on my own, I now have the freedom to run it however I like! Therefore, I will also be accepting Corporate donations.

2. A "Riding for a Cause" jersey that I will be wearing will include your company's logo on it. This jersey will be worn at all races and organized rides
