We are having a weekend of heavy rains, but before heading over to the Labrie's St Patrick's Day Dance party, I was able to sneak out for a 4 miler. Doing the Accokeek Access Loop, I started just seeing how I felt, but knocked down mile 1 at 7:18, then decided to keep it going as long as I could, finishing at 7:03 and 7:05 before finishing at a 6:47 min/mile pace for a total time of 28:29, beating my best time on that route by over a minute! Felt pretty good, had a quick breath at 3.8 miles, but quickly got it going again for the finish. Felt really good and was really happy with effort...
