New Long Run Route through another Local Neighborhood

Got going a bit late this morning as I was trying to finally catch up on some sleep, but because of the weather I needed to get out fairly early to avoid the rain. So around 10:30, just as Cole was going down for a nap, for a 12-15 miler depending on how I felt. Got going down Livingston and hopped down Pine Dr, across Rt 210 to the Simmon's Sub division. Ran through the different neighborhoods, cutting back and forth and just kind of exploring as I went along. In the end, found myself much further south than I expected, and felt great the whole way, leading to a very nice and moderately paced 14 mile run. Got my miles in at 8:27, 8:18, 8:39, 8:47, 8:46, 8:36, 8:22, 8:26, 8:18, 8:32, 8:30, 8:43 and finally finishing in 8:12.

2010 Efforts!

This year, like last year, I will be riding for Mary Payton's Miracle - My friend Steve Kogos from Trigators informed me that his friend Joe's daughter, Mary Payton, was diagnosed a number of years back with Late Infantile Batten Disease. This is a disease with no cure, however, there are special experimental (and extremely expensive) treatments which have shown some significant signs of success! In order to assist with the costly treatments and research, Mary Payton's Miracle was created to raise money to find a cure, hopefully in time to save little Mary Payton as well as the many others affected by this terrible disease!
