Beautiful days call for an afternoon run!

After this incredibly beautiful morning, mid 50's and really sunny, I needed to get out for a run with Betsy and the baby boy. So we got going after Cole ate lunch hitting the road for about 5 miles. Had a pretty great run, pushing the jogging stroller keeping about an 8:15 pace. Betsy had a bit of a rough go, having to stop a couple times and catch up to me by skipping out on some of the out and back sections. Finished miles in 8:13, 8:17, 8;13, 8:17, and then finishing at an 8:09 pace. After getting home Betsy and I got in our ab work too, doing a 20 min Exercise TV workout. Good day and looking forward to another wonderful day tomorrow too!

2010 Efforts!

This year, like last year, I will be riding for Mary Payton's Miracle - My friend Steve Kogos from Trigators informed me that his friend Joe's daughter, Mary Payton, was diagnosed a number of years back with Late Infantile Batten Disease. This is a disease with no cure, however, there are special experimental (and extremely expensive) treatments which have shown some significant signs of success! In order to assist with the costly treatments and research, Mary Payton's Miracle was created to raise money to find a cure, hopefully in time to save little Mary Payton as well as the many others affected by this terrible disease!
