2010 Efforts!

This year, like last year, I will be riding for Mary Payton's Miracle - My friend Steve Kogos from Trigators informed me that his friend Joe's daughter, Mary Payton, was diagnosed a number of years back with Late Infantile Batten Disease. This is a disease with no cure, however, there are special experimental (and extremely expensive) treatments which have shown some significant signs of success! In order to assist with the costly treatments and research, Mary Payton's Miracle was created to raise money to find a cure, hopefully in time to save little Mary Payton as well as the many others affected by this terrible disease!

HOW IT WORKS!!!

You pledge a donation to me. I need to know how much per 'mile' and what the maximum donation you would like to make is. Thats it! At the end of the year, I will calculate how much you pledged, you send me a check or a Paypal payment and I will send you a receipt from the charity once I receive it!

The 'miles' are calculated as follows (to keep the time involved similar):
1 mile road bike = 1 'mile'
1 mile Mountain bike = 3 'miles'
1 mile running = 4 'miles'
3000 yds swimming = 20 'miles'

You don't need to know me personally to participate, the more money we raise the better! Just email me at pchemdork@gmail.com

Let me know if there is someone you would like me to ride in honor/memory of and I will add them to the wall of fame to keep me motivated and to keep what all this is truly about in perspective!

Corporate Donations!

Because I am now running this on my own, I now have the freedom to run it however I like! Therefore, I will also be accepting Corporate donations.
Here's the deal, if you would prefer to make a donation via your business:
1. A link to your company's website on my blog with your logo and will mention your sponsorship in all updates and mailings
2. A "Riding for a Cause" jersey that I will be wearing will include your company's logo on it. This jersey will be worn at all races and organized rides
