Over the Hills and through the waterfront to TransAmerica I go...
San Francisco again! Wow this city is insanely hilly (in case you didn't know that all ready!). Started out up Grant again, but this time I took on the Pine St hill that I saw during our walk to dinner last night. Picked up Taylor St from there and headed up toward Lombard St again (saw a hill on the corner of Taylor and Broadway that I need to try tomorrow!). Once up at the top, took Hyde St down to the Hyde St Pier, continuing along the waterfront to Sansome St, where I headed back down to Kearney and Broadway and took on the steepest hill once again! After that, followed Columbus St down to Washington where the TransAmerica (pyrimid building) stands. Then headed on down to Mission St and came on back to the hotel for a 5.4 mile run! Great time, although wearing down a bit from the hills over the past few days, so might need to take it a bit easier tomorrow! Betsy also leaves tomorrow, so that might be a good day to go easy so I can hang with her before she leaves...

2010 Efforts!
This year, like last year, I will be riding for Mary Payton's Miracle - My friend Steve Kogos from Trigators informed me that his friend Joe's daughter, Mary Payton, was diagnosed a number of years back with Late Infantile Batten Disease. This is a disease with no cure, however, there are special experimental (and extremely expensive) treatments which have shown some significant signs of success! In order to assist with the costly treatments and research, Mary Payton's Miracle was created to raise money to find a cure, hopefully in time to save little Mary Payton as well as the many others affected by this terrible disease!
